On the path of professional development we go through a lot of tips and tricks, suggestions, edicts and mandates. Everyone swears that each of those will work. As a budding professional, it is difficult to figure out which one to follow. The answer is simple.
Go with your Heart!
Now, you might ask 'Is it very professional, to go with the heart? Aren't emotions problematic in the work place?'
True. However, emotions are there. Part and parcel of every human being. The problems you see are not caused by emotions themselves, but in the way you express it.
It is equally true that if your heart is not in it, your head will not follow! Well then, you know the rest. Half-hearted attempts at making changes, not finding time to practice, finding reasons why all such programs are not suitable to your particular circumstance etc etc.......
The way to put this into practice, is not to overthink it!
Listen to your heart, and jump in!
At the very least, the journey will be fun.
So what do you have to lose?
C'mon! Choose your path and make those changes. I am always here to help by answering your questions on professional development. Feel free to email, if you prefer. I can help you figure out where to go next.
Keep those comments coming. Remember, I am open to requests for posts on specific topics of your interest.
See you next week!

Hi, continue your good work. I think it's high time the blog gets really active and popular.
ReplyDeleteAnyways, on a completely different note, I want to know who is a psychology counselor?
Hi!
ReplyDeleteHare rama.. thanks for you encouraging words.
Any inputs on how to get the blog more popular is welcome. I will be some relevant visuals soon.
A psychological counselor deals with emotions like how a financial counselor deals with money/wealth issues. You can talk to either kind of counselor, to improve status quo or to deal with a problem.
Don't know if this explanation helps..?
